Garfield Primary School - South Wimbledon

• Mosaic made with Year 5 and 6 children for new school building.
• These children were able to practice and gain knowledge of the indirect and direct method of making mosaics.
• The mosaic shows the park next to the school with the River Wandle running through it.
• The design came together after working closely with two groups of 10 children (Yr.5 & 6) for a design workshop.
• Whole school involved in researching the local environment and making drawings & paper mosaics.
