  • This commission was part of my final year as BA student doing ‘Art for Community’ at Roehampton
  • Ceramic mosaic panel, made up of 292 individually made pieces
  • Waxed terracotta border tiles decorated in relief sculpture
  • Corner tiles and small square terracotta tiles with ‘inlaid’ design using white slip
  • Central design, made up of coloured glazed pieces, represents a ‘Phoenix’ bird (the school emblem) rising from the flames
